2/24/2023 0 Comments Ostrich 2.0 moduleI had a VS with an issue as well, it was a super 6 though but it does sound pretty much the same problem to mine. Maybe something simple I have overlooked.just can't think of what else to check. Have checked memcal connection and cradle etc for the ostrich 2.0 and all is fine. I'm running a VR auto ecu but running A VN 4l60 but I have corrected everything in the tune and the car has done many kms with this configuration without issue. VATS is disabled in computer as I have done this myself using CATSTUNER and a MOATES ostrich 2.0 emulator among many other things and car has done plenty of km's with all mods etc done.īasic version of EFILIVE says map say's around 96-97 when cranking, manifold line to sensor is basically new but never taken notice of cranking map value before but that seems high? All voltages check out saying its ok at ecu and EFILIVE data says voltages are correct.Ĭhecked all ecu voltages and all fine.checked all earths and due to issues with them before all are cut and joined and earthed better then factory.Ĭentral locking etc all still seems to be working so BCM and key seem to not be an issue.not to sure on how to 100% check this.įactory oil pressure gauge is not hooked up but hasn't been for a very long time and never created an issue. Fuel pressure gauge reads correct pressure on priming and rails have fuel when removed. Has injector pulse, checked with light and voltages and plugs are wet when removed.īoth fuel pumps are working.tank to surge tank and surge tank pump. Has good spark when putting a plug into the lead and turn over.Īlso set timing with timing light while turning it over in diagnostic mode. That afternoon fired up fine and just as I got to my driveway at home it stopped again and hasn't started since. Next day on way to work it stopped again the same as above then after a few minutes started again and got me to work fine. After I waited a few minutes it started and drove 15 minutes home as if nothing had ever went wrong. Then while driving it was as if I just turned key off, went completely dead. Replaced Ignition module.Fired up and ran perfect for about a 30 minute drive. Went to start it and it would give initial fire to start but then go dead and just turn over with no fire at all. Turned it off, left it for about 20 minutes. Spent many hours reading forums for something I have missed.Ĭar was running fine. For me to ask on a forum for help means absolute desperation after spending many many hours and getting know where.
